RESCUE EQUIPMENT
The RescueCut saw chain used by the emergency
services cuts through materials that would make
conventional saw chains blunt in a matter of seconds.
The tooth geometry of the RescueCut saw chain is speci-
fically designed for cutting materials other than timber.
Extremely hard-wearing, thanks to the full-length solid
tungsten carbide cutters brazed onto the cutting links of
the chain.

RescueCut saw chains
Now also available for chain saw models
DCS6400, DCS7300 and DCS7900.
Depth limiter. Just 350g in weight.
Light and very easy to fit, the MAKITA depth limiter ensures
that the saw cuts only to a predetermined depth – and it takes
only seconds to clean. The depth limiter is a vital aid when
cutting “blind” into spaces that cannot be inspected first, e.g.
through the roof skin of a damaged vehicle.
The MAKITA RescueCut saw chain cuts through
materials where conventional saw chains fail:
Wooden beams and framework with nails.
Mineral-surfaced tar paper or roofing felt on
a wood-panel skin.
Corrugated metal sheeting, galvanized steel or aluminium
including double-sided sheeting with insulation core.
Steel, aluminium, copper and alloy sheeting up to 1.5mm thick.
Car bodies and railway carriages.
Lightweight building materials, aerated concrete blocks
and masonry pointing.
The MAKITA RescueCut chain, used in conjunction with the
depth limiter, plays a vital role in the work of the emergency
services – searching for the seat of a fire, cutting access and
ventilation holes, and not least at the scene of accidents, when
hydraulic shears can no longer manage the job.
THE RESCUECUT SAW CHAIN CARRIES ON
CUTTING WHEN OTHER SAW CHAINS GIVE UP.
